David Hall - Managing Director

David is the visionary and founder of Hall Capital which was formed in mid-1999. David's strengths lie in his thorough understanding of capital raisings, acquisitions and divestments, his strong network and reputation in the investment community and financial markets, and his commitment to his clients.

Prior to founding Hall Capital, David was responsible for mergers and acquisitions and co-ordinating various capital raising projects at stockbroker BNP Equities where he started in early 1998.

Previously he had five years as an Associate Director with investment bank Bancorp. David's responsibilities included providing corporate financial advice regarding IPO's, capital raisings and public company mergers and acquisitions.

Before this David spent seven years with KPMG based in both Sydney and London. At KPMG he spent a significant amount of his time on corporate finance assignments including business valuations, IPOs and mergers and acquisitions.

David commenced his career as a financial journalist working for two years with Ian Huntley Publishing on the Your Money Weekly (share market advice) and Australian Money Market Weekly newsletters.

David is a graduate of the University of Sydney, with a Bachelor degree in Economics and Computer Science. He is also an associate member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants (ACA), and a Senior Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australia.
